On the afternoon of Tuesday 19 October, a large part of Haarlem was suffering from a power failure. The public parking garages and bicycle sheds in the centre of Haarlem were also affected. Among others, the barriers and parking meters are not working.

Spaarnelanden is doing everything possible to limit the inconvenience. The barriers will remain open until the power outage is resolved to ensure a continuous flow of traffic in the car parks. According to Liander, the disruption will last until 13:45.
