Parking in Haarlem during Formula 1

From 3 to 5 September, the Heineken Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 will take place in Zandvoort. Many visitors will visit the event from Haarlem. Therefore, please take into account the traffic in the Haarlem parking garages and bicycle sheds.

Traffic density in parking garages
In the Haarlem parking garages (except Stationsgarage managed by Interparking) the regular parking rates apply. It is not possible to reserve a parking spot. The operators of the parking garages are doing their best to answer visitors as quickly as possible. Due to the busy traffic this may take a little longer than normal. We ask for your understanding in advance.

Crowded bicycle sheds
The bicycle sheds in Haarlem, especially the station sheds, will be busier than usual. When the station parking is full, bicycles can still be parked in the parking at the Kennemerplein or in the other parking facilities in the city. On www.haarlembereikbaar.com you will find an overview of all public bicycle sheds in Haarlem.

It is also possible to park in the free NS bicycle shed underneath the station. This is a guarded self-service parking area with secure access. The first 24 hours parking is free, after that € 0,50 per day. The entrance is at the Kennemerplein. You will get access with your public transport card.

OV-fiets
An OV-fiets can also be rented in the station shed. For this, you need a personal OV-chip card on which you can put the OV-fietservice. On the NS website, you will find more information about OV-fietservice. https://www.ns.nl/deur-tot-deur/ov-fiets
